About GPCCI – Who we are

The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (GPCCI) was founded in Manila in February 2008 by 38 German companies who are located in the Philippines. Their mission was and is to promote, to facilitate and to strengthen the relationship between the Philippines and Germany in the area of commerce and industry.
Located in Makati City, GPCCI serves as the central organ and mouthpiece of the German business community in the Philippines. The number of members increases continuously. On the 26th of October 2011, 144 members enjoyed our services and activities.
The chamber upholds its core objectives of bilateral trade development via local government cooperation, affiliation with other local chambers and mediation between Germany and the Philippines. A strong cooperation is being maintained with the European National Chambers and the European Council, for which it functions as representative on key issues.

GPCCI is a non-stock, non-profit organization registered under the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. Its main institution is the board of directors that defines the chamber’s guidelines. Several committees that are each conducted by a board member discuss the chamber’s services and activities in detail. The implementation of their decisions is being supported by our friendly staff. The GPCCI-staff is also very pleased to serve the inquiries of our members and interested companies and individuals.
